If you are unemployed, underemployed, or struggling to find a direction a visit to the Career Resource
Centre (CRC) should be your first step to a successful job search. The Career Resource Centre is a self directed centre offering Employment Assisted Services to Cumberland County residents.
Located at 35 Church Street, Amherst the CRC has three full time staff and a career mentor to assist clients. Services offered include- Career Mentoring and Direction, Employment Nova Scotia Programs, internet access for employment and career research, resume and cover letter preparation, mock interviews and interview techniques, printing and faxing services, career preparation workshops, and Outreach Services in the County. An Employment Opportunities board is updated daily while reference
books, pamphlets and handouts are available on a variety of subjects.
